SADC, REPSSI and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, take pleasure in announcing the 2011 Regional Forum on Psychosocial Support.
This is an opportunity for sharing, learning and collaborating for all of us who are involved in psychosocial support (PSS) for vulnerable children and youth in East and Southern Africa. It is also an important opportunity to learn about the regional Minimum Package of Services for OVC&Y and Psychosocial Support Framework being developed by SADC with support from REPSSI and UNICEF.
Attending will be senior government officials from the region, senior representatives from SADC and EAC, UN agencies, NGOs and NGO networks, international cooperating partners, community workers, academics, and youth representatives. We hope to see you among them.

If you feel you have some learning to share under one of these themes, please complete the abstract submission form by the 28th February 2011. You can find the submission form and more details on our website www.repssi.org. We will be awarding a limited number of full and partial scholarships to authors of selected abstracts who are unable to cover the costs of attending themselves.
Registration
To confirm your attendance, please RSVP by completing the registration details at www.repssi.org and fill in the form online. The deadline for Early Bird registrations is 30 March 2011, and the final cut-off deadline for registering is 1 May 2011.
Costs
If you register before 30 March 2011, the Early Bird price to attend the full 3 days of the conference (includes conference sessions, lunches, teas and materials) is USD$200. Registration will cost USD$250 after this date. You commit to making this payment when filling in your registration form (page 4), and can pay this into REPSSI's USD bank account, as follows:

Accommodation
As explained above, the registration fee of USD$200 only covers the conference sessions, lunches, tea breaks and materials. Delegates need to make their own arrangements for accommodation, breakfasts, dinners and any other expenses.
