Who can attend the Introduction to Paediatric Palliative Care Course training?

Those working in the field of Palliative Care with some professional qualification.

This would include: Nurses; Social Workers; Chaplains/Pastors; Doctors; Occupational Therapists; Physiotherapists; Speech Therapists; Nutritionists; Pharmacists; Teachers, Social Auxillary Worker's; Staff Nurses and Enrolled Nurses. A separate course will be offered for carers in the near future.

Who can enroll in the 6 month Certificate Course in Paediatric Palliative Care?

Anyone who is registered with a professional body and who is working in the Palliative Care field. This includes: Nurses; Social Workers; Chaplains/Pastors; Doctors; Occupational Therapists; Physiotherapists; Speech Therapists; Nutritionists; Pharmacists; Teachers.

Applicants must have the support of their employers and be allowed the time to do their placements and their assignments.

Applicants must commit to completing the course within 14 months.
