On Friday, UK nursing organisation Association of British Paediatric Nurses launched a short film Children's Nursing Matters highlighting the role of nurses in supporting children and young people, providing the best possible care throughout their lifetime, focusing on the role of the nurse in providing that care in the community, in a hospice and at home. The Association hope that the film will provide a useful resource for nurses working in the children’s palliative care sector to showcase the work they undertake, or for nurses considering a career move or for nurse educationalists with nursing students.  The Association developed this resource with support from the Department of Health and the Royal College of Nursing.
